Why choosing organic for babies & kids is so important
When choosing products for your child, materials matter. Especially when they sit so close to their delicate skin.
From creating the healthiest, comfiest sleeping environment to making a positive impact on the environment, read on to discover why organic is better for your little one.
gentle on delicate skin
When it comes to your child’s delicate skin, only the best will do.
Made for the tiniest sleepers and the biggest peace of mind, our children’s bedding is made from rare, long-staple organic cotton, making it beautifully soft, smooth and gentle against sensitive skin. It’s certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) because it’s the highest standard in the world.
Grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers and finished with safe, gentle GOTS-approved dyes, it helps reduce the risk of irritation while ensuring your little one isn’t exposed to harmful chemicals whilst they sleep.

naturally breathable & temperature regulating
Natural fibres like cotton allow air to circulate more freely, making them more breathable than synthetic fabrics or blends.
Unlike conventionally grown cotton, which is often treated with chemicals that can affect the fabric’s structure and breathability, organic cotton retains its natural softness and ability to wick moisture away from the skin. This helps your little dreamer regulate their body temperature, keeping them comfortable and reducing the risk of overheating.

stays beautiful, wash after wash (after wash)
Because organic cotton is grown and processed without the harsh chemicals often used in conventional cotton production, the fibres are left intact rather than weakened. We also use long-staple cotton, known for its longer, smoother fibres. The result is a softer, stronger, more resilient fabric that’s made to last—through every cuddle, wash, wriggle and little bit of bedtime mischief.

better for the environment
We use GOTS-certified organic cotton because, unlike other organic certifications, it covers every step of the journey—from how the cotton is grown, to how it is processed, dyed and finished.
Unlike conventional cotton, which relies on synthetic chemicals including pesticides, herbicides and fertilisers, organic cotton is grown using more environmentally conscious farming methods. This helps support healthier soil, protect biodiversity and create kinder environments for farmers, wildlife and the ecosystems around them. It also requires significantly less water than conventional methods.
By restricting harmful toxins and unnecessary synthetic treatments during processing and finishing, the toxic runoff that is typical of conventional fabric dyes is avoided with GOTS certified organic. This helps reduce pollution and keep waterways clean.
With strict criteria and independent oversight at every step, GOTS certified organic cotton helps create bedding that’s safer for little ones and kinder to the world they’re growing up in.
